De-Stressing: While the Counseling Center is known for providing therapy, did you also know that they have great workshops and webinars about how to deal with test anxiety, to prepare for final exams, to de-stress and more? Check out their myUMBC group for a list of online events.
Meditation: The Counseling Center also has some guided meditation, breathing and relaxing exercises on their resources page. Try one of these today!
Women's Center: The Women's Center provides information, resources, and programming related to gender, equity, wellness, community, and social justice. Programs are available to all, regardless of gender orientation. They have a robust list of virtual programs to get you connected to support and community. Check out their event calendar!
Accommodations: Did you know that UMBC offers a whole spectrum of accommodations to students with disabilities or who have a temporary illness or injury? Once you register with the Office of Student Disability Services, you can access accommodations for your courses. To begin the process of requesting accommodations, check out the step-by-step guide on their website.
Inclusive Community: i3b, UMBC's Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion & Belonging, brings students together to celebrate cultural diversity, equality, and social justice, and to get support as they create inclusive, just, and mutually respectful communities. i3b hosts clusters of programs that are wonderful opportunities to meet others and form important connections.
