Food Insecurity Resources in MD
Good Afternoon UMBC Students!
We hope everyone is practicing good hygiene and taking care of themselves. If you use Retriever Essentials or are experiencing food insecurity, OCSS wants to make sure that you are informed about healthy local food options. With the executive order being enacted by Governor Hogan regarding COVID-19, it is important to utilize local resources to limit excessive travel outside of your home.
While Retriever Essentials items are available at the UMBC Police Department and True Grits, please refer to the following resources in case you or anyone you know needs further assistance with food. There are also resources related to emergency housing. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to OCSS or Retriever Essentials.
