Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction at UMBC
Students who seek out help do better in their classes than students who try to tough it out alone.
UMBC provides tutoring and supplemental instruction by paid, trained peers for many of your classes today!
1. Math Lab
Drop in tutoring help with Math and (some) Science courses in the first floor of the Library.
2. Writing Center
Drop in tutoring help with any paper or any class in the first floor of the Library.
3. SI/PASS: Supplemental Instruction/Peer Assisted Study Sessions
Study sessions for many of your classes including Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics, Economics and GES.
4. Weekly Appointment Tutoring
Need more help? You can sign up for a weekly tutoring session in any 100 or 200 level class.
