This is an awesome event sponsored by the Mosaic Center and led by Michael Fell and Lisa Gray.

Do you want to know how to create a more engaged, supportive and inclusive UMBC?

Have you wondered how to be more respectful and affirming of people from marginalized communities?  

Do you ever unintentionally offend minoritized people and don't know why?

Then, join us for our new How to be an Effective Ally workshop series! Get practical tips and strategies for supporting and advocating for your friends colleagues.  All UMBC students, staff and faculty are welcome to participate.  

Featured Communities/Populations:

Women - March 28, 4-5pm

LGTBQ People - April 13, 1-2pm

People from Underrepresented Religions - April 25, 4-5pm

Pre-registration is strongly preferred.  Indicate attendance in this post or emailmosaic@umbc.edu.  If emailing, provide the date and topic of the workshop in your message.  

Light food/snacks will be served.
