Need to take a Placement Test? Wait until you read THIS!
Registration is fast approaching!
Happy Spring, Retrievers!
Spring semester is in full bloom and that delicate little flower known as Fall 2015 class registration is starting to open up right before our eyes! It's coming sooner than you think (check out this handy list if you're wondering when you can register), and if you need a Placement Test in order to register for a course, the Learning Resources Center will be offering online testing windows every week from now through May 5, 2015. Windows start up every Tuesday and end at midnight every Tuesday. If you need to take a test in order to register for your class, email placement@umbc.edu to see what your options are.
In case you've forgotten, you cannot register for an English composition course (ENGL 100 or ENGL 110) without the English Placement Test and you cannot register for any Math course without the Math Placement Test or prerequisite courses.
Want to register for a science course? Make sure you read the enrollment requirements! Certain science courses (e.g. BIOL 141 and CHEM 101) require a certain Math Placement or completion of certain Math courses in order to register!
So to sum everything up in beautiful little bullet points:
