Summer Housing Bus Fair

Still on the hunt for off-campus housing?

Looking for off-campus housing? Not sure where to start?

Join us if you are still in need of securing housing for the upcoming fall semester or just want to tour several off-campus living properties. 

The tour includes free breakfast, lunch, and transportation to Mt. Ridge, The Timbers, St. Agnes, and Walker Ave Apt.

OCSS Commuter and Transfer Welcome Day

Calling all incoming Commuter and Transfer students!


Greetings! 

Are you a new commuter or transfer student? Join Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) for our Commuter and Transfer Welcome Day on Saturday, August 27,1:30 – 7 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom. 


This event is part of UMBC’s Welcome Week, an annual tradition with programs and events that will give you the opportunity to meet and connect with other students, learn how to get engaged on campus, and help you prepare for the upcoming semester.


OCSS offers a range of services, programs, and support and aims to help students thrive during their time at UMBC socially and academically. You’ll learn more about all of our offerings, including the Commuter Assistants and Transfer Student Network Leaders programs, and so much more. 


There’ll be other fun activities like campus tours, games, and Retriever Fest. T-shirts and dinner will be provided. 


Tentative Schedule

1:30 - 2 p.m. | Check- In (Lite Refreshments)

2:15 - 3 :15 p.m | OCSS and Campus Welcome

3:30 - 4:45 p.m | Campus Tours or Visit Retriever Fest (in- groups)

5 p.m | Commuter and Transfer Student Panels (Q & A Session)

6 p.m | Dinner and Group Photos

7 p.m and on | Optional Welcome Week Activities On Erickson Field
