February 14 (from 12-1:00PM)- Brown Bag Lunch Discussion/In - Person
Join us this Monday February 14th in the fireside lounge(located in the 4th floor of the commons) for our Brown Bag lunch discussion. Brown Bag Lunch Discussions are designed to create an open forum for First-Generation students at UMBC to discuss various topics concerning them and prevent them from navigating college life successfully.
February 23 (from 7-8:00PM)- First-Gen Culture Show/In-Person
Join us for our culture show on February 23th from 7:00-9:00 PM in the sports zone located by the commons! Volunteer to be featured on our runway and showcase your cultural clothes or bring traditional snacks that can say a thing or two about your culture. We will also be playing fun interactive games, So come out and have fun with us!! Oh and did we mention that we will be having a drawing for a chance to win a gift card to the bookstore?
March 17 (from 5:30 - 7:00PM) - Alumni Event/Online
Come hear from our first-gen alumni! As students, it is important to plan for your future careers and life after UMBC. Learn first hand how these alumni navigated through life after college. Questions are always welcomed and appreciated!
