UMBC Transit Weekdays/Weekends Bus Schedules

UMBC Transit will resume full schedule service 08/23/2021. Bus routes and times will be posted in the coming weeks. Please see the following link for some wonderful alternative transportation options. For further assistance, inquiries, or concerns please email Transit Operations at transit@umbc.edu


Routes

UMBC Transit will be providing its customary routes 7 days a week for the Fall 2021 semester. Operational hours are as follows: Monday – Friday 6:30am – 11:30pm, Saturday – Sunday 8:00am – 11:30pm.

Route Frequency

Frequency varies per route – Please see the Transit website for specific hours and route schedules. The bus locator system (Transit Tracker) is available for determining the real-time location of specific buses on route. The app is also used to send updates and messages to the ridership.

 

Health and Safety

UMBC’s COVID19 safety protocols are in effect aboard buses and at bus stops. At this time, facial masking will still be required aboard buses and at stops.

 

Your ID is Your Ticket to Ride

Your campus ID is required to be presented and swiped upon boarding. You will be swiping your card to validate enrollment and to create a ridership report per route. No visitors are permitted on Transit buses at this time.
